Working closely with engineers and other technical specialists, you will take part in research and development projects for future particle accelerators. Your work will help transform innovative magnet concepts into manufacturable prototypes and practical assembly solutions. Functions Prepare 3D CAD mechanical models and drawings of short magnet demonstrators, prototypes and associated tooling, in close collaboration with other colleagues in the section. Update CAD models and drawings to integrate feedback from construction and assembly activities. Con | Qualifications: Higher technical diploma or equivalent relevant experience in the field of Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Experience: Proficiency in CATIA (or a similar modern 3D CAD software), including the production of detailed 2D manufacturing and assembly drawings, for mechanical components and assemblies.
