After an initial on-the-field training, you will take part in the mechanical assembly, commissioning and operation of the vacuum coating systems. Your responsibilities Design mechanical parts with CAD software for the coating systems. Manufacture mechanical components on conventional (milling, turning) and CNC (milling) machines. Perform mechanical assembly of ultra-high vacuum coating systems. Operate the coating systems to deposit carbon thin films in the LHC beam lines.
