Computational prediction of arrhythmogenesis - 2026_IDR_DCMC_23
Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research
Deadline
16 November 2026
Description
Offer Description: Numerical simulation of action potential propagation in cardiac electrophysiology is currently a highly useful tool for predictive purposes. This project builds upon the work carried out within the INNOVA project regarding arrhythmia prediction. Specifically, it aims to validate proposed risk indices and evaluate the importance of including myocardial motion and the right ventricle in the simulations. The LifeX finite element library will be used for these purposes.
