Offer Description: Call for applications for a doctoral research scholarship within the First-Team FENG research project. The position is funded by the Foundation for Polish Science (FNP) under the First-Team programme, project No. FENG.02.02-IP.05-0111/25, entitled “Next-generation lithium-metal batteries with semi-solid electrolytes and self-healing, bioinspired cathode–electrolyte interfaces”, co-financed by the European Union under the European Funds for a Modern Economy programme (FENG 2021–2027). Requirements: Research Field Engineering » Chemical engineering Education Level Master Degree or equivalent Research Field Engineering » Materials engineering Education Level Master Degree or equivalent Research Field Technology » Energy technology Education Level Master Degree or equivalent Research Field Technology » Chemical technology Education Level Master Degree or equivalent Skills/Qualifications Laboratory experience, particularly in the synthesis of electrode materials. Knowledge of the physical chemistry or electrochemistry of solids. Knowledge of electrochemical cells, including lithium-based cells. Experience in synthesising materials for electrochemical energy storage, preparing electrode layers and assembling laboratory-scale electrochemical cells, supported by at least one scientific publication. Practical knowledge of electrochemical measurement techniques, particularly cyclic voltammetry (CV), galvanostatic charging and discharging, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). Experience in characterising the structure, morphology and chemical composition of materials using selected techniques, such as XRD, XPS, SEM-EDS, Raman spectroscopy or FTIR. Willingness to take on new scientific challenges and conduct research.
