ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING A COMPETITION FOR THE POSITION OF ASSISTANT PROFESSOR AT THE FACULTY OF HUMANITIES, SOCIAL SCIENCES AND COMPUTER SCIENCE MAZOVIAN UNIVERSITY IN PŁOCK

Offer Description: 1. Candidates eligible to participate in the competition: meet the requirements specified in Article 113 of the Law of 20 July 2018 – Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1571, as amended); hold a doctoral degree (PhD) in philosophy or a related discipline; have a scientific track record in the field of philosophy or ethics; have a command of Polish sufficient to conduct classes with students; have a communicative command of English. Candidates applying for the competition are required to submit the following documents: an application for employment addressed to the Rector of The Mazovian University in Płock; a curriculum vitae (CV); a personal questionnaire for candidates applying for employment; a copy, certified by the candidate as true to the original, of the document confirming the award of a doctoral degree (PhD); copies, certified by the candidate as true to the originals, of any other diplomas; a list of scientific publications; a declaration stating that The Mazovian University in Płock will be the candidate’s primary place of employment; copies of documents confirming professional experience and employment history; a declaration confirming compliance with the requirements specified in Article 113 of the Law on Higher Education and Science; consent to the processing of personal data; an information clause; any other documents supporting the candidate’s application. All documents must be signed by the candidate. Selection process The documents should be submitted in a sealed envelope marked: “Competition for the position of Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences and Computer Science of The Mazovian University in Płock (Philosophy)” to: The Mazovian University in Płock 09-402 Płock Plac Dąbrowskiego 2 General Office, Room D205 (2nd floor) Documents may be submitted from Monday to Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Candidates whose applications are not accepted by the Competition Committee will not be informed of the outcome of the procedure. The University reserves the right to cancel the competition without giving a reason. Winning the competition does not guarantee employment. In the case of applications submitted by post, the date of receipt by the University, rather than the date of the postal stamp, shall be decisive.
