Offer Description: Durchführung von In-vitro-Versuchen unter Verwendung fortschrittlicher Hautzellmodelle, insbesondere SkinEthic®, einem 3D-Modell der rekonstruierten menschlichen Epidermis (RhE), zur Bewertung der Zytotoxizität, der Entzündungsreaktion und der Hautverträglichkeit verschiedener biologisch abbaubarer Polymere, 2D-Nanomaterialien und Beschichtungen für physiologische Sensoren (Blutdruck, Bioimpedanz und Cortisol) sowie für Umweltsensoren (z. B. Temperatur). Requirements: Research Field Other Education Level Bachelor Degree or equivalent Skills/Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering Specific Requirements Additional qualifications 20%: A bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, supplemented by an official postgraduate qualification or Master’s degree in Biological Sciences demonstrating a strong multidisciplinary profile focused on the interface between engineering and biomedicine, will be viewed favourably. Furthermore, holding Official Accreditation in In Vivo Animal Experimentation for rodents in Categories A, B and C will be a highly distinguishing requirement. Professional experience 20%: Priority will be given to experience with 2D materials and biosensors, as well as proficiency in characterisation techniques such as SEM, AFM, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, contact angle analysis and confocal or fluorescence microscopy. Experience with cell cultures on substrates will also be viewed favourably. The highest score will be awarded to candidates who can provide articles as first author in high-impact JCR journals in the field of nanomaterials or biomaterials. Similarly, active participation in scientific events will be taken into account, with the highest score awarded for oral presentations at leading international conferences and participation on the organising committee of European-level conferences in the field of interfaces or colloids. Other criteria 20%: In this section, marks will be awarded for demonstrable experience in the preparation and drafting of scientific and technical reports for competitive calls for public R&D funding.
