Offer Description: RATEN invites applications for one permanent position of Senior Scientific Researcher, Scientific Research Grade II (CS II), in the field of Materials Engineering. The successful candidate will undertake research activities in materials science, with a focus on the characterisation of crystalline structures and metallic materials using X-ray diffraction techniques. Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements: Hold the professional scientific grade of Scientific Researcher Grade II (CS II), demonstrated by the relevant order issued by the Romanian Minister responsible for research. Have at least five years of professional experience in Materials Science, demonstrated by scientific publications, participation in research and development projects and/or other relevant documents attesting to professional activity in the field. Criminal record certificate. Selection procedure The competition will take place on 4 November 2026, at 08:00 , at the RATEN headquarters, 1 Câmpului Street, Mioveni, Romania. The selection procedure consists of: Written examination: 75% of the final score. Interview: 25% of the final score. The minimum final score required to pass is 7 out of 10.
