The Department of History and Art History at UdG carries out teaching and research activities in the areas of History, Art History, Archaelogy, Cultural Tourism amb Cultural Heritage. The department is involved in several undergraduate, master’s and doctoral programs, and leads competitive research projects at both national and international levels, establishing itself as a key player in its field. A call for applications is open for a full-time faculty permanent position at the rank of full professor ('catedràtic'). The ideal candidate will have a academic background in Contemporary World I and Contemporary World II. Experience and potential to develop quality research in Political and Cultural History of Europ and Latin America during the XXth century. The candidate should also demonstrate teaching experience at undergraduate or postgraduate levels.
