The Department of Chemistry at UdG carries out teaching and research activities in the areas of Physical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Analytical Chemistry. The department is involved in several undergraduate, master’s and doctoral programs, and leads competitive research projects at both national and international levels, establishing itself as a key player in its field. A call for applications is open for a full-time faculty permanent position at the rank of full professor ('catedràtic'). The ideal candidate will have a academic background in ORGANIC CHEMISTRY. Experience and potential to develop quality research in Antimicrobial peptides to control plant diseases. The candidate should also demonstrate teaching experience at undergraduate or postgraduate levels.
