The Department of History and Art History at UdG carries out teaching and research activities in the areas of History, Art History, Archaeology, Cultural Heritage and Cultural Tourism. The department is involved in several undergraduate, master’s and doctoral programs, and leads competitive research projects at both national and international levels, establishing itself as a key player in its field. A call for applications is open for a full-time faculty permanent position at the rank of full professor ('catedràtic'). The ideal candidate will have a academic background in Renaissance Art. Experience and potential to develop quality research in Early Modern Art; Renaissance Painting and Sculpture; Renaissance and Baroque Art in Catalonia. The candidate should also demonstrate teaching experience at undergraduate or postgraduate levels.
