Offer Description: The University is offering a research post for a project in the field of electron microscopy of nanomaterials, entitled ‘Rational Design of Ternary SACs for Oxidation Reactions: Optimisation of the Nanointerface using AI and In-Situ Microscopy’ Requirements: Research Field All Education Level Bachelor Degree or equivalent Skills/Qualifications The successful candidate will carry out, amongst other things, the following tasks:  Development and implementation of Artificial Intelligence techniques (neural networks, machine learning and deep learning) for the quantitative analysis of transmission electron microscopy images.  Developing programmes in Python and MATLAB to implement the methods developed.  Preparing scientific papers and conference presentations relating to the results obtained during the project.  Contributing to the preparation of project reports. Specialisation in Computing within the relevant undergraduate or engineering degree programme. Research Master’s in Systems and Computer Engineering. Experience:  Previous experience in the following techniques: deep learning, pattern recognition, machine learning and big data. Languages: English, at B2 level or above Selection process Required documentation: Copy of national identity document/passport Copy of degree certificate or Doctorate if required.
