Directorate: STI | Department: Policy Analysis and Legal | Location: Paris, Île-de-France Region, France | Level: Associate | Grade: PAL3 | Function: Research | Ref: REF3305C | Main Responsibilities Economic research and data science work Contribute to economic research projects under the auspices of the WPDEMA on the diffusion of digital technologies and their impacts on key economic outcomes (e.g. competition, labour markets, productivity). Use econometric and machine-learning approaches, but also potentially geospatial analysis and/or natural language processing. Contribute to the drafting of documents, including working papers and presentations, that include quantitative analysis and modelling. Support WPDEMA work to develop statistical standards and definitions for digital transformation, as well as contribute to the implementation of the Going Digital Measurement Roadmap. Communication and liaison Develop good working relationships with colleagues within ST | Qualifications: Ideal Candidate Profile Academic Background: An advanced university degree in economics, statistics, mathematics or a closely related field. Professional Background: A minimum of two years of relevant experience performing economic analysis and strong interest in the production and/or use of advanced quantitative methodologies.
