Directorate: ELS | Department: Policy Analysis and Legal | Location: Athens, Attica, Greece | Level: Associate | Grade: PAL5 | Function: Analyst | Ref: REF3153N | Main Responsibilities Policy analysis and drafting Supervise and co-ordinate policy-relevant analysis in close cooperation with the Crete Centre staff located at OECD HQ. The topics covered will vary according to the Centre’s Programme of Work. The work should lead to the formulation of policy recommendations, underpinned by sound economic and policy process theory and empirical analysis. Identify areas in which empirical work is necessary and provide supervision and guidance at the technical level to economists and policy analysts involved in this work. Review and comment on work done by other stakeholders, both within and outside the Centre. Draft high-quality analytical documents and papers focusing on current economic policy issues relevant to the Centre’s Programme of work. Draft repo | Qualifications: Ideal Candidate Profile Academic Background An advanced university degree in economics, social sciences or a related field. Professional Background At least three to six years' experience in applied economic and/or public policy analysis, policy advice and structural issues of OECD economies or some emerging economies.
