The topics covered will vary through time according to the Department’s Programme of Work, and will include both structural and macro-economic issues, in the short or medium term, related to OECD Member countries and some non-Member economies. Contribute to the semi-annual forecasting round of the Department. Participate in the development and maintenance of the analytical apparatus of the Department by identifying areas in which empirical work is necessary. Contribute to the work done elsewhere in the Department in the relevant areas. Draft reports and articles on economic developments and policy issues for inclusion in | Qualifications: Ideal Candidate Profile Academic Background An advanced university degree (Masters, PhD), in economics or econometrics or related field. Professional Background At least five years' experience in applied economic research and policy analysis, preferably acquired in an international organisation, government ministry, central bank, academia, relevant private sector organisations, NGO, think tanks or
