You will play an active role in improving PS operation through data driven analysis, high level control applications and automation-oriented developments, with the aim of making operation more robust, reproducible and efficient. Functions: Take an active role in the safe, efficient and performance-driven operation of the PS and its associated beam lines during commissioning, regular operation, and machine development studies. Analyse PS operational issues, assess their impact on beam performance and availability, and | Qualifications: Master's Degree or PhD or equivalent relevant experience in the field of Physics, Engineering or a related field. Experience: Experience with accelerator operation or strong interest in developing a solid understanding of PS operation, accelerator systems and beam dynamics.
