Skip to main content Back to search results M-RIC Research Assistant - Clinical Trials Support University of Liverpool - Faculty of Health and Life Sciences - Institute of Population Health - Health Data Science Location: Liverpool Salary: £33,951 to £38,784 per annum (Grade 6) Hours: Part Time Contract Type: Permanent Placed On: 24th August 2026 Closes: 7th September 2026 Job Ref: 115113 We are looking to appoint a Research Assistant to work for the Mental Health Research for innovation Centre (M-RIC) which is part of the university Centre; Civic Health Innovation Labs (CHIL). M-RIC is an ambitious programme of work jointly delivered between University of Liverpool and Mersey care NHS Foundation Trust (MCFT). It has wide reaching benefits to the region whilst raising the profile of all partners as leaders in Mental Health Innovation. The ideal candidate will: Support the delivery of research studies, clinical trials and innovation projects across M-RIC work packages. Support project teams to deliver studies in line with agreed milestones, timelines and regulatory requirements Contribute to study reporting, monitoring and governance activities, providing updates to project leads and relevant committees as required. Working collaboratively with NHS and wider partners on M-RIC aligned projects Engage closely with PPIE colleagues in M-RIC and other infrastructure grants to progress and develop best practice principles Engage in relevant training and academic advancement relevant to the postholder’s interests and career ambitions Support the development of funding applications, study documentation and research dissemination activities as appropriate. The post is available until the 31 st August 2027 with hybrid/flexible working. The university operates a hybrid work environment for staff, with a current requirement for a minimum of 40% of working time on campus, depending on business needs.
