The Information Management (IM) Officer will support the Emergency and Field Operations Section, UNICEF-led clusters and Area of Responsibility (AOR) and sub-national coordination structures, in line with the humanitarian reset’s recommendation on shared resources. UNICEF leads/co-leads the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) and Education Clusters. In addition, UNICEF co-leads the Education, WASH and the Social Protection Sectoral Working Groups (along with the Cash - Social Protection Linkages Task Force). UNICEF also provides technical support for the Education in Emergencies Working Group and is ensuring strong Child Protection technical capacity under the Protection Cluster. Together, these forums have a combined membership of over 300 organizations. The size and complexity of this on-going response requires robust, consistent IM support, allowing UNICEF to meet its Cluster Lead Agency responsibilities. The incumbent will also play a pivotal role in inter-agency data coordination, working closely with the OCHA IM Unit and the Data Coordination Group (DCG) to ensure coherence, interoperability, and data quality across humanitarian coordination structures.
