TITLE: MHPSS Facilitator East African Migration Routes Project (EAMR) TEAM/PROGRAMME : Program Operation Egypt Country Office LOCATION: Cairo, Egypt GRADE : 6 Duration: Until Dec 2026 With possible extension based on performance and budget availability. Contingent upon confirmation of funding CHILD SAFEGUARDING: Level 3: The post holder will have contact with children and/or young people either frequently (e.g. once a week or more) or intensively (e.g. four days in one month or more or overnight) because they work country programs; or are visiting country programs; or because they are responsible for implementing the police checking/vetting process staff. It will also target national and community organizations to enable them to provide effective protection and self-reliance services for children and youth. ROLE PURPOSE: The MHPSS Facilitator will lead the implementation of Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) group activities for refugee and migrant children and youth. The role focuses on strengthening resilience, promoting protection and prevention interventions, and delivering awareness sessions for children and their caregivers. The Facilitator will work directly with vulnerable refugee and migrant populations to enhance life skills, build individual resilience, and improve psychosocial well-being through structured, child-centered support interventions. SCOPE OF ROLE: Reports To: MHPSS Officer Staff Directly Reporting to this Post: None • Support the identification and outreach of vulnerable children, youth and caregivers in coordination with the Case Management and MHPSS teams • Facilitate and co-facilitate a rolling program of life skills training programs. • Build capacity small group of interested child
