AI Application Assistant Details TITLE: Project Coordinator – Food Security and Livelihoods TEAM/PROGRAMME: Child Poverty / Programme Implementation LOCATION: Kayah Number of Position: 1 GRADE: NAT- 3 CONTRACT LENGTH: Fixed Term CHILD SAFEGUARDING: Level 3: the post holder will have contact with children and/or young people either frequently (e.g. once a week or more) or intensively (e.g. four days in one month or more or overnight) because they work country programs; or are visiting country programs; or because they are responsible for implementing the police checking/vetting process staff. ROLE PURPOSE: Under the direct supervision of Project Manager and under the overall management of Area Operations Manager, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for the successful management and day-to-day implementation of the FSL activities in project targeted areas. This action aims to contribute to the inclusive development and wellbeing of children and family by delivering MPCA assistance and Community Dialogue Sessions through local partners and direct delivery in specific targeted townships. The Project Coordinator will coordinate with respective local stakeholders to achieve the project goal. This post holders will support overall field level management and coordination with Project Manager, Area Operations Manager and HoP to ensure successful implementation of project activities in project areas as planned. Direct Reports to: Project Manager/ Area Operations Manager Coordination with: PCs, MEAL focal, Senior Program Manager, Technical Lead and budget holder from CO Staff reporting to this post: Project Officer Budget Responsibilities: Authorize expenditure up to 5,000 USD Travel: (Frequent over 10 days per month) Role Dimensions: Regular contact of detailed explanations of policy, regulations, programs, services and representation of SCI at the local level KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY: Assessment / survey Under the guidance of PM, Project Coordinator will manage the field data collection for baseline, endline survey, PDM, etc. Coordination and support with local partners to conduct the assessment along the project period as needed Program Management Manage the day-to-day implementation of FSL intervention, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of program activities in targeted townships, including supervising proper program mobilization, preparation, and monitoring according to project plan. Together with the PM, implement FSL component for the targeted community/beneficiaries Draw and set up monthly work plan with local partner and ensure completion of targeted work plan (DIP/APU) on time and with high quality Prepare work plan and budget estimation, in coordination with partner team and focal persons for MEAL, supply chain and Finance Lead on the targeting and verification exercises as required to ensure transparency and accountability in the targeting of programme beneficiaries. Together with MEAL team, ensure that feedback mechanisms are established, and feedback points are set up including follow up on responding feedback. Ensure project implementation is in line with SOPs and operation procedure which is release by SCI. Coordinate and work with the Project Officers and local partner and partner for project day by day implementation. Provide technical trainings such as market assessment, beneficiary registration, community dialogue and Post Distribution Monitoring to partner team and SCI field team in coordination with Technical Lead and MEAL Coordinator and technical supervision and guidance to them to ensure quality and timely implementation of the project, through monitoring and field visits. Define programme supply needs through the development of Procurement Plans and coordinate with the logistics team and program coordinators to put in place a practically phased procurement plan. Identify budget variances and communicate with PM on major variances and solutions identified.
