Maximize Your Opportunities with UN Talent Pro Daily Alerts UN Talent Pro Details Work Location Geneva Expected duration 6 months Duties and Responsibilities Under the supervision of the Head of UNRSF, the incumbent is expected to contribute to the work of the UNRSF Secretariat as follows: • Support the Call for Proposals process and related activities, including screening of proposals, proposal submission databases, compiling information for the Call for Proposals report, and other relevant tasks; • Support data visualization efforts to facilitate impact attribution; • Support the events, campaigns, projects and activities planned of the UNRSF; • Support the relevant activities of the UNRSF on social media; • Support results based management efforts and project monitoring; • Performing other duties as requested. For this role the following skills/experience are strongly desired: • Demonstrated ability to gather, analyse and synthesis information from various sources. • Basic understanding of project and document management principles and event facilitation. • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and willingness to take on new challenges. • Strong attention to detail and an ability to propose effective solutions. • Full proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel. • Strong oral and written communication ability in English. Fluency in French, Spanish considered an asset. Qualifications/special skills To qualify for the United Nations Internship Programme, the following conditions must be met: - Applicants to the United Nations internship programme must at the time of application meet one of the following requirements: (a) Be enrolled in a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); (b) Be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum Bachelor's level or equivalent); Be computer literate in standard software applications; have a demonstrated keen interest in the work of the United Nations and have a personal commitment to the ideals of the Charter; Applicants for all countries are accepted and under-represented or un-represented countries in the UN are encouraged to apply. No working experience is required to apply for the United Nations Internship Programme. Your training, education, advance course work or skills should benefit the United Nations during your internship. Languages Fluency in English (both oral and written) is required.
