You have: Completion of Secondary Education is required. At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in Operations and Supply Chain Functions, including Supply Management, Contracting, Logistics, Warehouse Operations, Inventory Management, Distribution, Materials Handling, Stock Control, Transportation Coordination, Document Control, Emergency Response, or related fields. Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset. Experience in FIFO and FEFO inventory practices, ERP and VISION systems, warehouse safety procedures, stock reconciliation and dispatch documentation, is an asset. Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts. Contract This is a G-3 contract. This kind of contract is known as General Service and related categories . It is normally only for nationals . It usually requires 3 years of experience , depending on education. Purpose of the post: Under the direct supervision of the Warehouse Assistant (GS-5), it manages the day-today reception and dispatching of UNICEF supplies in the UNICEF Warehouse while ensuring that storage conditions and cargo handling are in accordance with product specific demands, and that appropriate security conditions are maintained to assure the safety of programme supplies. Summary of key functions/accountabilities: Assist in receiving, unloading, stacking, and proper storage of UNICEF supplies in accordance with warehouse procedures and FIFO/FEFO principles. Receive, pick, putaway and create waybills for supplies in VISION. Update inventory records in VISION and bin cards regularly to ensure stock accuracy. Conduct periodic physical stock counts and report any discrepancies, damages, or near-expiry items to the supervisor. Support picking, packing, loading, and dispatch of supplies to Implementing Partners (IPs) and field offices. Assist in arranging transportation and preparation of dispatch documentation including gatepass and waybills. Monitor warehouse cleanliness, safety, and proper maintenance of warehouse equipment and storage areas. Maintain proper filing of warehouse
