You have: Secondary Education in any related fields. At least 7 years of relevant work experience in Supply Management, Supply Management/Contracting/Logistics, supply chain management, procurement, logistics management, contract management, inventory management, cold chain logistics, immunization programs, humanitarian operations, finance, International Economics, and any other related fields. Strong experience in Effective Implementation, Monitoring, Reporting, Contract Administration, Logistics Coordination, and Financial Analysis is required. Fluency in English and Arabic is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language. Knowledge of Developing Country Experience, Emergency Response Experience, Health Supply Chain Management, Offshore Procurement Experience, Cold Chain Logistics, and GAVI Project Experience is an asset. Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts. Contract This is a G-7 contract. This kind of contract is known as General Service and related categories . It is normally only for nationals . It usually requires 7 years of experience , depending on education. Salary The salary for this job should be more than 1,780 USD . Salary for a G-7 contract in Damascus The salary of a G-7 depends on the duty station. As a Senior Supply Associate, you will administer the Health operations, requiring basic professional technical expertise in support of conducting high quality EPI & health events related to UNICEF country programme. S/He will be responsible for effective planning, follow-up on the procurement processes for GAVI projects, contract management, distribution, and inventory management of Health programme supplies, in addition, to processing the payments, coordinating with all Health programme stakeholders, issuing the new Health programme requisitions, and tracking and reporting on EPI grant expenditures in support of the achievement of planned objectives of the work plan, aligned with Health program goals and strategy, and emergency preparedness and response plans. Under the direct supervision of the Immunization Specialist, the incumbent administers the Health operations, requiring basic professional technical expertise in support of conducting high quality EPI & health events related to UNICEF country programme.
