Unitaid supports the global response to HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, malaria, and other priority health areas by making time-limited strategic investments that increase equitable access to better, more effective, and affordable health products. These investments aim to improve market dynamics, support the scale-up of innovative solutions, and catalyze broader impact across the global health ecosystem. The Resource Mobilization and Strategic Engagement Officer supports the work of the External Relations Unit by strengthening strategic engagement with key partners and stakeholders, particularly with donors and through fora such as G7/G20. The position support efforts to strengthen Unitaid's positioning in the global health landscape and contribute to the support efforts to strengthen Unitaid's positioning in the global health landscape and contribute to the generation of predictable and high value revenue streams. DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES Build trusted relationships and form a robust network with strategic contacts in donor and other external institutions, including G7/G20 governments to support effective policy and funding cooperation. Monitor and analyze developments in global health and international development relevant to Unitaid's strategic priorities. Support and coordinate engagement with external stakeholders, including preparing materials for meetings, joint activities, and high-level events. Maintain ongoing communication with partners and ensure timely follow-up and collaboration. Track partner activities, commitments, and opportunities for collaboration, and contribute to the development of strategic engagement plans. Seek opportunities to support Unitaid's Next Generation Financing agenda. Prepare written materials including briefing notes, talking points, concept notes, and contributions to reports for the Unitaid Board and governance committees. Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education Essential : University degree in international relations, political science, development studies, or a related field. Desirable : Training or qualifications in partnership development or strategic planning. Experience Essential : At least five years of experience in external relations or partnerships, including work in an international context. Track record of engaging government officials, parliamentarians, civil society, and other development actors to increase funding and financial flows for development. Minimum two years' experience related to public health. Demonstrated experience preparing strategic written materials (briefing notes, concept notes, etc.). Experience organizing high-level or multistakeholder events. Desirable : Direct experience working in global health.
