The Procurement (Supply & Logistics) Associate performs highly skilled work on UNICEF supply chains, and manages the more complex cases and client requests, which frequently requires the evaluation of difficult situations and adaptation of procedures and processes to resolve such cases. The function is characterized as highly independent and provides opportunities for Associates to lead and carry out responsibility for end-to-end supply chain management from the beginning to the end of the process and provide input into the design and development of improved supply chain services and delivery mechanisms. A Bachelor or equivalent (First Level University Degree) from a recognized academic institution in a field relevant to the position may replace 3 years of related work experience. A Master or equivalent (Advanced University Degree) may replace an additional 2 years. The degree should be related to Supply/Purchasing, Business Administration or any other related fields. Work Experience : At least 6 years of relevant work experience in Administration, Supply Management, Logistics, Procurement, Warehousing, Inventory management, Contract Management, Vendor management or any other related fields. Skills : Supply chain knowledge, Policy compliance, Case judgment, Stakeholder management, ERP proficiency(SAP), Planning and reporting, Microsoft Office, Collaboration, Problem solving. Language Requirements : Both English and Russian - Proficient/Fluent Desirables Language: Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French or Spanish) or a local language. Supply chain courses, procurement certification, emergency logistics, customs clearance. Professional and/or university courses related to the field of work are highly desirable.
