How can you make a difference? The Nutrition Officer provides professional technical, operational and administrative assistance throughout the programming process for the nutrition programmes/projects within the Country Programme, from development planning to delivery of results. In doing so, the incumbent implements a variety of technical and administrative programme tasks to facilitate programme development, implementation, programme progress monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of results. Work Experience : At least 2 years of relevant work experience in Nutrition, Health and Nutrition, nutrition, public health, maternal and child health, infant and young child feeding, program management, monitoring and evaluation. and any other related fields. Skills : Programme Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, Facilitate, Approval Process, Manages Ambiguity, Drive to Achieve results, partnership development, capacity building, resource mobilization, knowledge management are all required skills. Language Requirements : Fluency in French is required. Desirables Language: Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, English, Russian or Spanish) or a local language IYCF experience, resource mobilization experience, nutritional epidemiology experience are all considered as assets.
