ABOUT THE JOB The supply chain Assistant (Logistic) to provide timely and effective logistics and supply chain support, ensuring the efficient delivery of goods and services in compliance with DRC policies and procedures., which responds to the current needs for the country operations, including Emergency responses and complies with the DRC operations handbook. Responsibilities: Understand, respect and control DRC policies and procedures. Focus on supporting transparency and accountability of the organization. Maintain a strong working relationship with DRC Programs. Maintain accurate systems and regularly updating Warehouse, Assets and GPE Database. Assist Logistics department for preparation of any reporting required in terms of Stock, Asset, GPE Reports, Deliveries, Goods Received and compliance documentation. Responsibilities Logistics & Supply Chain Support Support the implementation of daily logistics and supply chain activities in accordance with DRC policies and procedures. Maintaining and updating records of all inventory/Asset on ORCERP Software, Dynamic and Offline databases.. To maintain record of attractive equipment handover/ take over to ensure good tracking. Follow up on pending logistics requests and ensure timely completion. Coordinate with suppliers and follow up on delivery of goods and services. Prepare damage/ loss report for assets/ GPE Ensure procurement documentation is complete, properly filed, and compliant with organizational procedures. Warehouse & Asset Management Support proper receipt, storage, issuance, and tracking of supplies and equipment. Maintain accurate warehouse records, stock cards, and inventory documentation. Assist with physical inventory and asset verification exercises. Effectively manage analyses and sort all incoming and outgoing materials. Ensure goods and assets are properly documented and stored in accordance with organizational standards. Fleet & Transportation Support the management and coordination of vehicles and transportation services. Maintain vehicle movement records, logbooks, fuel records, and other fleet documentation. Report vehicle maintenance, repair, and other fleet-related requirements to the responsible supervisor. Filing Ensure that an organized filing system is in place. Issue Asset/GPE records as need to be required to the area office staff. Support preparation of logistics reports and provide information required for audits and internal reviews. Ensure that an organized filing system is in place, which should include records of work done and vehicle performance records. Adhere fully to the DRC Code of Conduct. Any other task and duties assigned by Line Manager, such as providing cover for a colleague who is away. ABOUT YOU To be successful in this role you must have: Experience and technical competencies: At least 3 years of progressively responsible experience in logistics operations. Education/qualifications: High School degree or BA in Business Administration Solid computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Languages: Good English writing and oral communication skills Good knowledge of both Dari and Pashto We Offer: Salary and conditions will be in accordance with DRC salary scale Application process: Application process: Interested?
