Job Title: Private Partnerships Consultant Contract type: International Consultant Duration: 11 Months Duty Station: Beijing, China KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Under the direct supervision of Head of Private Partnerships Unit, the Private Partnerships Consultant will: 1. Support the planning, creation, and regular updates of WFP China fundraising social media content, including drafting, designing, filming and editing posts and digital materials. 2. Monitor and track performance data of WFP China fundraising social media accounts, as well as relevant peer/competitor accounts; conduct analysis and identify effective communication content and styles to enhance fundraising outcomes. 3. Assist in developing and delivering communication strategies to promote individual giving activities, including donor outreach, storytelling, and campaign-specific messaging. 4. Provide communication support of fundraising events and campaigns, including drafting/editing social media content, preparing communication materials for partners and donors, and assisting with event coordination as required. 5. Provide support in maintaining and updating WFP China’s individual fundraising pages on online platforms, ensuring compliance with platform requirements. 6. Support organization of meetings, campaigns and other activities of the Private Partnerships unit. 7. Perform other duties as required. STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION A bachelor degree in Political Science, International Development, Economics, International Relations, Law, Marketing, Communications and relevant field. An advanced university degree is an asset. WORK EXPERIENCE Proven experience in managing social media platforms, creating engaging multimedia content, and analyzing performance data to support individual giving campaigns and donor storytelling. Demonstrated ability to provide communication support for fundraising events and manage online fundraising pages, backed by excellent bilingual (English and Chinese) communication and organizational skills. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Ability to work Microsoft Office programmes (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, E-mail) required for work; Ability to prepare preliminary reports and to draft correspondence; Ability to work in multi-cultural environment; Ability to work under pressure, be able to meet deadline, willing to take challenges; Good communication skills with different stakeholders. PERFORMANCE INDICATORS: Concise reports and correspondence drafted with high quality; Smooth communication and dialogue maintained with the national counterparts; Strong enthusiasm with highly appreciated flexibility and adaptation; Work assignment completed before the deadline.
