ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.Provide technical leadership for the CFSVA 2026 assessment design, including review and refinement of the assessment protocol, analytical framework, indicator matrix, sampling approach, survey plan and quality assurance system. 2.Work closely with government counterparts, UN agencies and other NGOs to support effective planning, implementation, and monitoring of activities of the CFSVA. 3.Strengthen household, community, key informant, market and trader tools covering food security, nutrition, livelihoods, shocks, climate risk, social protection and Market Functionality Index modules. 4.Support training, pilot testing and fieldwork quality assurance, including review of dashboards, GPS points, survey duration, missing values, back-checks and consistency checks, and recommend corrective actions where required. 5.Develop and document the data cleaning, weighting and analysis plan, including statistical syntax, tabulation plans and reproducible analytical outputs. 6.Apply CARI classification and analyze food consumption, dietary diversity, nutrition indicators, expenditure, coping strategies, shocks, livelihoods, vulnerability profiles, market functionality and food security outcomes. 7.Integrate household, market, climate and secondary data to identify drivers of food insecurity and vulnerability, including district mapping, market access, climate overlays and hotspot identification. 8.Conduct trend analysis using CFSVA 2020, FSMS, Cadre Harmonisé and other relevant datasets, and develop evidence-based targeting criteria for assistance, nutrition support, resilience programming and shock-responsive interventions. 9.Prepare and present preliminary findings to WFP RAM, the Technical Working Group, Steering Committee and national stakeholders, and provide analytical inputs, tables, figures, maps and interpretation notes for the final report. 10.Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor in support of programme and organizational objectives. DELIVERABLES AT THE END OF THE CONTRACT: 1. Inception report including methodology, workplan, analytical framework, sampling considerations, quality assurance plan and risk mitigation measures. 2. Finalized survey instruments, indicator matrix, training materials, enumerator manuals, pilot plan and data quality protocols. 3. Fieldwork quality assurance note summarizing data quality issues, monitoring findings and corrective actions. 4. Cleaned and weighted analytical dataset, analysis syntax, tabulation plan and metadata/documentation. 5.
