The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for a Quality Improvement Business and Technology Development Manager supporting our National Center office. This position can be home-based. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, grant-funded opportunity. Current funding will expire 6/30/2028 with the possibility of extension. This individual will lead the identification, recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing engagement of healthcare organizations, including hospitals and outpatient clinics, participating in funded quality improvement initiatives. The role serves as a key liaison between participating organizations, technology vendors, and internal teams to support successful implementation and adoption of registry and quality improvement technologies. Responsibilities The Quality Improvement Business and Technology Development Manager will be responsible for managing the full implementation lifecycle, from prospect identification and participant recruitment through technical onboarding, technology integration, and ongoing account relationship management. This position will work closely with healthcare system stakeholders to facilitate EHR-connected registry implementation, ensure successful data exchange, and support long-term program participation and success. The ideal candidate combines strong relationship-building skills with operational and technical aptitude and is comfortable coordinating across multiple programs, stakeholders, and technology partners to achieve initiative goals. This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of healthcare improvement, technology implementation, stakeholder engagement, and program operations while helping healthcare organizations improve quality of care and patient outcomes nationwide. Recruit, onboard, and engage hospitals, health systems, health networks, and outpatient organizations in funded quality improvement initiatives and registry programs. Serve as the primary point of contact for participating in organizations, building strong relationships and supporting successful implementation, engagement, and long-term participation. Collaborate across implementation, technology, analytics, quality improvement, and market teams to ensure successful program delivery, compliance, and growth. Coordinate the implementation of EHR-connected registry technologies by partnering with healthcare system stakeholders, technology vendors, and internal teams. Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, streamline workflows, and develop scalable approaches that enhance program effectiveness across multiple initiatives. Monitor participant progress and program performance, proactively addressing barriers and identifying opportunities to improve engagement, utilization, satisfaction, and outcomes. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience 3 years of relevant experience Experience with sales development or fund-raising in the American Heart Association or related non-profit Experience with account management and sales success Experience in onboarding organizations to technologies or other technical experience related to interoperability or healthcare data. Experience building and managing relationships with external alliances or partners Experience identifying and building relationships with key volunteers in hospital or clinical settings Ability to interact and engage with C-Suite and/or technical leaderships, ideally in hospital or outpatient clinic settings Ability to implement effective business-to-business marketing/sales plans Ability to work independently and effectively manage mul
