UNTalent Community Details Under the direct supervision of the Project Coordinator, and with the overall supervision of the Head of Programmes, the Project Assistant (I ntegration Counselling) will be responsible for carrying out information activities, and provide accurate data on rights and obligations to migrants legally residing in Romania. The successful candidate will be based in Brasov, Romania. Qualifications High school diploma with three years of relevant experience; or Bachelor’s degree in in Social Sciences, International Relations, Psychology, Public Administration, Education, Health Sciences, Human Rights or related fields from an accredited academic institution with one year of relevant professional experience Responsibilities Support the identification, registration and enrolment of beneficiaries in IOM integration and inclusion projects. Provide information and basic counselling to beneficiaries regarding available project services, rights, obligations and opportunities for integration in Romania. Maintain regular communication with beneficiaries to identify needs, provide follow-up support and facilitate access to available services. Register beneficiaries in relevant project databases and maintain accurate, complete and up-to-date records and supporting documentation. Provide information on services available through public institutions, local authorities, non-governmental organizations and community-based service providers. Assist beneficiaries in accessing relevant services, including education, employment, healthcare, social assistance and other integration-related support. Refer beneficiaries to appropriate service providers and stakeholders, in coordination with the project team and in accordance with established referral procedures. Assist in collecting, reviewing and organizing supporting documentation required for project assistance and service provision. Support the maintenance of beneficiary files and contribute to the monitoring and updating of beneficiary information and assistance provided. Contribute to the organization and implementation of project activities, including information sessions, orientation activities, community events and socio-cultural activities. Liaise with local authorities, service providers and community stakeholders, as required, to support beneficiary inclusion and access to services. Support data collection, reporting and other administrative tasks related to project implementation. Ensure confidentiality of beneficiary information and comply with IOM policies and procedures, including data protection requirements. Demonstrate professionalism, impartiality and respect when interacting with beneficiaries, partners and stakeholders. Perform such other duties as may be assigned.
