DRC received registration from the Ministry of Interior in 2011, and since then has focused primarily on responding to the Syrian refugee crisis in Lebanon and the resulting impact on Lebanese host community. DRC Lebanon’s focus is to ensure that we are able to respond to critical emerging humanitarian needs whilst improve the living conditions of displacement-affected populations and contribute to the achievement of durable solutions. The Protection Analysis and Information Management Specialist leads the generation of high-quality protection evidence and analysis for DRC Lebanon, as well as the Syria Crisis regional response. The role goes beyond traditional information management and serves as the programme’s principal analytical resource for identifying, interpreting and communicating protection risks affecting refugees, displaced populations, migrants, stateless persons and vulnerable Lebanese communities across Lebanon. The position will also contribute to the analysis of protection risks and data across Lebanon, Jordan, Syria and Türkiye in relation to the Syria Crisis regional response. The position is responsible for transforming complex quantitative and qualitative datasets into actionable protection analysis through triangulation of protection monitoring findings, sectoral information, contextual developments, assessments, case management trends, service mapping, secondary data and field observations. The Specialist supports evidence-based programming, advocacy, strategic decision-making and donor engagement through the production of analytical products. Your main duties and responsibilites will be : Protection Information Management Lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of protection information management and analytical frameworks across DRC Lebanon. Produce monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc protection analysis reports identifying trends, patterns, drivers and severity of protection risks across governorates and population groups. Conduct advanced qualitative analysis of focus group discussions, key informant interviews, case studies, field observations, staff debreifs, protection incident data and protection monitoring data. Triangulate information across protection, economic recovery, shelter, MEAL, legal aid, child protection, GBV and external humanitarian datasets to generate comprehensive protection insights. Identify emerging protection risks, geographic hotspots and population-specific vulnerabilities and develop evidence-based recommendations. Lead the development of analytical products, thematic briefs, dashboards, infographics, risk profiles and presentations for internal and external audiences. Ensure analytical outputs incorporate intersectional analysis including age, gender, disability, displacement status, nationality and location. Support advocacy efforts through evidence generation, position papers and analytical briefing notes. Maintain Power BI dashboards and data visualization products supporting strategic decision-making. Engage field staff on data analysis, routine validation sessions, and consult with them on new thematic areas of focus to research. Coordinate analytical exercises with consortium partners, UN agencies, NGOs and relevant technical working groups. Research, Analysis and Evidence Generation Develop methodologies for mixed-method protection analysis. Review and synthesize secondary data, policies, conflict developments and socio-economic trends affecting protection outcomes. Ensure analytical conclusions are evidence-based, contextualized and clearly linked to programming and advocacy priorities. Develop clean external (public or private) briefing including reports, executive summaries, powerpoint presentations to present findings to key stakeholders or support advocacy efforts. Information Management and Data Quality Oversee data quality assurance procedures, data cleaning, coding structures and analytical frameworks. Ensure compliance with DRC and protection information management principles including confidentiality, data protection and responsible data sharing. Capacity Building and Technical Support Strengthen analytical capacity of protection teams, including local partners, through coaching, tools, guidance and quality assurance.
