Support to modern regulatory frameworks and supervisory capacity for financial authorities in LAC The general objective of this TC is to strengthen the institutional capacity of financial authorities in LAC by supporting the design and implementation of modern and sound regulatory frameworks, advanced supervisory tools, and supervisory technologies that enhance financial stability, resilience and inclusion across the region. The specific objectives are to: (i) support financial authorities in drafting and updating fit for purpose financial regulations, public policies and institutional reforms that close gaps against international standards; (ii) enhance the capacity of financial supervisory agencies to adopt and use technology (SupTech) for more effective, risk-based oversight; and (iii) foster structured public-private dialogue on financial innovation and stability.
