Organizational Context and Scope Under the overall supervision of the Deputy Chief of Mission (Iraq) and direct supervision of the Monitoring & Reporting Officer, the National Programme Data and Reporting Officer will support IOM Iraq’s multi-sector programmes from the Erbil Sub-Office. IOM Iraq operates different governorates with offices in Baghdad, Erbil, Basra and seven sub-offices, implementing humanitarian, recovery, and development efforts. IOM’s approach links direct services, community programmes and capacity-building, enabling life-saving support while advancing durable solutions and resilience. Data underpins this work-the mission relies on robust programme information management systems. In this context, the National Programme Data and Reporting Officer will support the coordination of programme data collection and reporting across IOM Iraq’s emergency and development portfolios. Qualifications Required Qualifications and Experience Education Master’s degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, statistics, information management, data ccience, social sciences or a related field from an accredited academic institution ; or University degree in the above fields with two years of relevant professional experience in the development and implementation of M&E and AAP frameworks Accredited Universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database. Experience Experience in programme data management, analysis and reporting in a humanitarian or development context (at least five years if holding a bachelor’s degree). Proven experience coordinating data collection from multiple projects or field locations, ensuring data integrity and timeliness. Technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access; experience with data analysis or visualization software (e.g. SQL databases, Power BI) and mobile data collection tools (Kobo) is required. Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation frameworks and results-based reporting (experience with UN/IOM reporting systems like PRIMA or PRISM, SRF indicators, etc. is an advantage). Prior work experience with IOM or UN agencies, or in the Iraqi context, is an advantage. Proven experience in data collection tool preparation, data collection, analysis and reporting in a humanitarian or development context is an advantage. Skills Strong reporting, writing and research skills, preferably related to M&E data; Demonstrated knowledge of development of data collection tools, their administration and evaluation techniques and practices; Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills; and, Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with people of diverse cultural and national backgrounds. Expert knowledge of MS office and advanced statistical skills including knowledge of database management, statistical and project management software is a strong advantage; Knowledge and understanding of the migration issues, return and reintegration in the region is an advantage.
