Organizational Context and Scope Under the overall supervision of the Deputy Chief of Mission (DCOM) and the direct supervision of the Monitoring and Reporting Officer, and in close coordination with programme staff in Iraq, support staff, and field office staff, the Senior AAP Associate will be responsible for supporting the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer in activities related to Accountability to Affected People (AAP), as well as reporting requirements. Qualifications Required Qualifications and Experience Education Bachelor degree in anthropology, law, development studies, political or social sciences or a related field from an accredited academic institution and five years of practical experience in the field and certificate in AAP; or School Diploma in the above fields with seven years of relevant professional experience. Accredited Universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database. Experience Substantial experience in the design and implementation of AAP Frameworks and workplans, monitoring and/or evaluation; Proven experience in the management of CFM teams and operations; Proven experience in the implementation of AAP capacity-building activities with staff and implementing partners; Proven experience in data collection tool preparation, data collection, analysis and reporting in a humanitarian or development context; Familiarity with data protection principles and exercises. Skills Strong reporting, writing and research skills, preferably related to M&E and AAP; Excellent communication and analytical skills; Demonstrated knowledge of development of data collection tools, their administration and evaluation techniques and practices; a Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills; and, Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with people of diverse cultural and national backgrounds. Expert knowledge of MS office and advanced statistical skills including knowledge of database management, statistical and project management software is a strong advantage; Knowledge and understanding of the migration issues, return and reintegration in the region is an advantage. Languages All IOM staff members in all categories are required to be fluent in one of the IOM's official languages (English, French, Spanish). For this position, Fluency in English is required Arabic and Kurdish are advantage Languages Proficiency of language(s) required will be specifically evaluated during the selection process, which may include written and/or oral assessments.
