For the purposes of this vacancy, internal candidates are defined as staff members holding a regular, fixed-term or short-term graded or ungraded contract, including Junior Professional Officers (JPOs), staff on Special Leave Without Pay (SLWOP), UN Volunteers with at least twelve (12) months of continuous service in IOM, and staff members on secondment/loan released by the Organization, unless otherwise specified in their contract. Staff members holding a regular, fixed-term or short-term graded contract will not retain their contract type if appointed to an ungraded position. Organizational Context and Scope In close collaboration with national and local authorities and experienced Partners, in the context of the project 'Helios+: Comprehensive actions for the integration of third-country nationals into the labour market' in the Region of Crete" with MIS Code 6018664 under the Programme "Crete 2021–2027'', IOM aims at promoting the integration of beneficiaries of international protection and temporary protection into the Greek society through activities for employability support, the provision of Greek language courses and vocational training, the support for independent living, including rental subsidies, activities promoting social cohesion and inclusion. Under the overall supervision of the National Project Officer, the technical advice of the CBI Focal Point and the direct supervision of the Regional Coordinator, the successful candidate will have the following duties and responsibilities: Qualifications Education High School Diploma with minimum three years of working experience; or, University degree in finance, economics, accounting, management and business administration or any other related field from an accredited academic institution with minimum one years of work experience. Master’s degree in the above fields will be considered an advantage. Accredited Universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database . Experience At least one year of relevant previous work experience; Experience in working in a multi-cultural environment preferred. Skills Computer literacy in standard software applications; Strong work ethics and commitment to humanitarian principles. Languages For this position, fluency in English and Greek is required (oral and written). IOM’s official languages are English, French and Spanish. Proficiency of language(s) required will be specifically evaluated during the selection process, which may include written and/or oral assessments.
